Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)

Applies to orders placed by consumers residing in the European Economic Area (EEA). Last reviewed: June 2026.

Who you are contracting with

Orders shipped to the EU/EEA through the Toolbox Widget store are sold by Global-e, which acts as the merchant of record for these sales. The specific Global-e legal entity you are contracting with is the entity named on your order receipt and on the Contact Us page linked from checkout. The full terms governing your purchase, including seller identity, are set out in Global-e's Terms of Sale, and entity details are available in the Global-e entities list. This page summarises your withdrawal right and how to exercise it through the Toolbox Widget store.

Your right to withdraw

As a consumer residing in the EEA, you have the right to cancel your order and withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason. This right exists independently of any other returns policy.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods. Where your order consists of multiple goods delivered separately, the period expires 14 days from the day you acquire possession of the last item.

How to withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the 14-day period expires. You can do this in either of the following ways:

You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is enough that you send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

Returning the goods

You must return the goods without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before that 14-day period expires.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You may handle and inspect the goods only as you would be allowed to in a physical store — that is, to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish this.

Refunds

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery costs (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer).

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied proof of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.

We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise; in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods under EU law (for example, goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, or sealed goods unsealed after delivery that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons). Any such limitations are set out in Global-e's Terms of Sale.

Alternative dispute resolution

As an EU consumer, you may be entitled to use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms. You also retain your statutory rights in relation to products that are not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or otherwise not fit for purpose.
